I see social conformity bias and confirmation bias shows up in social media in things like reviews because once a lot of people start saying a piece of media is good or bad, then a lot of people start hopping on the bandwagon and repeat the same things they hear. Most of the time, people who do this don't even consider what they felt about that piece of media or even watched it, they just wanna be part of the group. In addition, if someone dares to say something that goes against what this cult of people say, they will get hated on and get attacked online. This stuff can also branch out into more serious things like politics and drama.

Every media outlet has its own agenda and propaganda, they focus only on news and information that supports and interpretations that reinforces their extreme views on topics, you can see this clearly on both the left and the right.

How I see social conformity bias and conformation bias show up in social media is that I see it through polls there would be polls that would have no vote count for each option so people would just pick the right one and maybe a few people will pick some other things but when you can see the votes the majority will go to the one who everyone voted for.
