Fission, Budding, Regeneration, Fragmentation and Spore formation

India missed two consecutive deadlines, one in $2015$‍ and another in $2017$‍, to eliminate the life-threatening disease Kala-azar. Serious efforts are being made by the government to eradicate this disease. Leishmania, the protozoan that causes this disease, reproduces through binary fission.
